Ir+ infinitivo: The Near Future in European Portuguese
The one structure that lets you talk about the future before you're ready for the future tense.
You want to say "I'm going to call you later." Or "we're going to travel next month." Or "what are you going to do this weekend."
In European Portuguese, that's one structure — and it's simpler than it looks. But only if you learn it properly. Because if you've been using Brazilian resources, you've already picked up at least two habits that will immediately mark you out in Lisbon.
This is the workbook that fixes that.
WHAT THIS WORKBOOK ACTUALLY DOES:
Not a grammar handout. It's the structure broken down the way I break it down for private students — pattern first, drilling second, real sentences from page one.
Inside:
- Ir conjugated until it's automatic — because this verb is doing all the work
- The exact structure: ir + infinitivo
- Why "vou ir" and "vou vir" mark you as someone who learned the wrong Portuguese — and what to say instead
- Clitic position in EP vs BP: the detail most workbooks skip entirely
- Practice sets that move from recognition to production, section by section
- A full answer key.
WHO THIS IS FOR:
You're at A1–A2. The full future tense feels far away and you need to talk about plans now. Or you've been learning for a while and something always felt slightly off — this is probably why.
What you'll get:
- A digital 20-page PDF you can print at home or work through on screen
One structure. Done properly.
